We invite you to Valentines Day weekend and the 37th anniversary of the longest thriving lesbian bar in the country- The Wildrose!  Produced by Seattle born and raised performers & creators Caela Bailey and Takiyah Ward; alongside SimonePin Cofounder Shadae Simone- we bring you a weekend of love and adoration for this hometown hotspot.We couldn't fit all of our love for the Wildrose into one night so we curated three events to get you in the spirit. Free'ky Friday is the free dance party. while Afternoon Delight and Anniversa'redux is our Saturday double header. We have a delicious array of eats for brunch and star studded lineups for both shows that we are sure you do not want to miss. Come celebrate Seattle's only lesbian bar as we ring in our 37th year of women led business and community building.

About Water the Rose:

Water the Rose is a community effort led by Caela Bailey, Takiyah Ward and Shadae Simone. After being approached by the owner of the Wildrose Shelley Brothers to help create a mural for the space, the trio saw an opportunity to go bigger. What came of that was a two month effort to redesign, revitalize and breathe new life into the historic space. The hope of Water The Rose is to show by doing how important spaces like this are to the community. With the amount of development and change that is happening in Seattle, and the Wildrose being the only lesbian bar in the region, the team of Water The Rose felt it their duty to roll up their sleeves and reactivate this space to let the people know we want it to stay put.
