Besa Gordon, the beloved host of Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle, has officially renewed her contract with the network for a second season. This exciting news comes as Besa is in the midst of taking a temporary break from the show to focus on her health, demonstrating FOX 13's unwavering belief in her and the show's potential. 

The renewal also follows a successful first season, where Besa captivated audiences with her vibrant energy and passion for storytelling.

“Besa Gordon is a gifted and dynamic storyteller,” said Jake Wiederrich, vice president and news director at FOX 13 Seattle. “Her uplifting stories about our Black communities resonate with all of us, and I’m delighted her important work will continue to be available to the FOX 13 audience.”

Back2Besa quickly became a fan favorite, resonating with viewers across the Pacific Northwest. The show's unique blend of uplifting stories, community spotlights, and emphasis on youth empowerment has struck a chord with audiences of all ages. Besa's genuine warmth and infectious enthusiasm have made her a beloved figure in the region.

The renewal of Back2Besa is a testament to Besa Gordon's talent and dedication, as well as FOX 13 Seattle's commitment to the show and its mission. As Besa herself has said, "This is my FOX family, and from day one, they have always made me feel at home here. I am thankful to the team at FOX 13 Seattle for believing in our vision of Black joy and uplifting positive Black stories from across the Pacific Northwest."

Living the media life she always dreamed of after graduating highschool, Besa Gordon said “What a blessing it is for my job to be something that I’ve been doing since I started my first blog. And that’s uplifitrng our community and highlighting the dope people, places and things here in the PNW.”

Besa also took the opportunity to uplift her production team. "I am so thankful to my amazing production crew," said Gordon. "Their hard work and dedication are unmatched; without them, there would be no show."
