Written by Besa Gordon - With Christmas now behind us and the New Year fast approaching, it’s important to remember the power of giving and creating a moment of joy for someone who may not have had any of this year. Last weekend on Back2Besa we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of the people around the region who have taken time to give back to others.

Giving back is just one way to help make a difference within our communities that doesn’t cost you anything but your time. It’s also something you can do all year round. I know it’s common for people to volunteer their time during the holidays, but we must remember people need help all year round. Not just during the holidays.

So, for everyone who has donated their time this year, I want to say thank you for taking the time to make someone’s day.
