On Saturday, July 20th, 2024, from 2 pm to 5 pm, Chardonnay Beaver will present a screening of her documentary "Fulfill The Promise: The Rise. The Fall. The Promise." at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The event will also include a book signing for Beaver's newest book, "Words of Wisdom: A Compilation of Life Principles, Inspired by Truth & Guided by Purpose Vol. 1."

The 90-minute documentary explores the cultural impact of Seattle's Central District, focusing on the late Rev. Dr. Samuel Berry McKinney's efforts to combat systemic poverty. The film covers a wide range of topics, including the Great Migration, redlining, the Urban Renewal Program, and the role of the Black Church.

Following the screening, Beaver will be available to sign copies of her book, which offers a compilation of life principles inspired by truth and guided by purpose.
