The Columbia City Beatwalk, known as ‘South Seattle’s Music Festival’, brought folks together to celebrate music, vendors, and the historic community event which has been running for 29 years. The monthly event which runs June-September and is organized by the Columbia City Business Association showcases some of the best the neighborhood has to offer. 

Seattle photographer Jordan Somers was there to take in the sights, sounds, and smells as he tapped in with Black-owned businesses like Ma & Pops, Kay’s Paint Joint, and more.
