The Iconic Sonics podcast and Converge Media recently teamed up for a special City Edition episode featuring Sonics legend and NBA Head Coach Nate McMillan. Hosted by Converge Media Co-Founder Omari Salisbury, the episode was taped inside Converge’s Black Media Matters Studio. 

McMillan, who is known as “Mr. Sonic” thanks to his twelve year playing career in the Emerald City and five year stint as Sonics head coach, sat down with Salisbury to discuss the NBA, basketball in Seattle, and the fight to bring the Sonics home. 

Iconic Sonics celebrates the history of the great Seattle SuperSonics, including the team’s journey and experiences in Seattle. It explores the stars and stories that made NBA basketball in Seattle legendary.
