Local vocal tour de force Caela Bailey recently celebrated her birthday in the most EXTRA way possible! Caela's first official Gutter Queen production featured eight of her favorite burlesque performers, including Converge's own TDUB, aka TAQUEET$. These performers brought their most extra acts, and they did not disappoint.

But the extra didn't stop there! As the producer of the show, Caela had no idea what acts each performer would bring. The shock and awe were apparent as audiences jumped, cheered, and threw their dollars for some unforgettable moments. And Caela was in the front row for all the love and appreciation her performer community has for her.

This production is just one of many epic productions Caela has been a part of lately. Balancing her own career and completing her sophomore album, Caela also feels it's important to create spaces of reciprocity and diversity for Seattle's performer scene. As a seasoned vet, she's experienced firsthand the pitfalls of stage life here in the city and plans through GQP to shake things all the way up!
