AurPlace Sensory Camp

Time: 

Group 1 (Ages 3-6): 10am-11am

Group 2 (Ages 7-11): 12pm-1pm 

Group 3 (Ages 12-16): 2pm-3pm 

Location: Tacoma. Address will be sent to participants

Cost: $5 or pay as you will (We accept cashapp $AurPlaceSG or cash) Pay at the door

Our mission statement is to create a safe space for children, families, and the community by empowering strength, knowledge, and advocacy with providing effective learning and social opportunities. Our goal is obtain a brick and mortar location to assist with bringing our services to the community on a daily basis. The type of services we will offer will be providing opportunities for free play, we will use sensory specific gym equipment and offering sensory classes to focus on specific needs. The biggest goal is to provide children and parents a space where their children can be themselves and not worry about being judged. Our future plans once our location is open to the public, would be to create a non-profit so we can provide more supports for the children and their parents. For example, bringing in therapists, supporting with  advocacy around Individual Education Plans and evaluations. Our GoFundMe campaign is assisting us with obtaining the necessary funds to hold our sensory camps and a brick and mortar space in Tacoma. Sharing our profiles will help get the word out about AurPlace and hopefully raise the necessary funds to obtain a building and open AurPlace to the community. We are so passionate about this passionate about this cause and we are doing everything possible to make this happen!
