This showcase is a live audition for Kenan Thompson to find the best comedians in the country. The favorites from this evening will be invited back to the next showcase in the region later in this season. After that, Kenan and his team will invite their favorites to go to the finale showcase in NYC. They will provide airfare, hotel and they may also be his personal guest to see SNL and meet the cast.

Each showcase will have 12-15 participating comedians doing their best 3 minute set.

The crowd will also help decide on the "Audience favorite" for the night.
