CD Forum and Shakin’ Shit Up invites you to "The Journey: Violence, Hope, and Art" on Saturday October 22nd 3-5pm at Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute for an afternoon of intentional community-led presentations, art, and performances hosted by Emmy award winning storyteller, Sharon Nyree Williams and creative collaborator Michael B. Maine.

The event will include local community leaders, artists, and activists from Community Passageways, Beloved King County, The Lavender Right's Project, Vivid Matter Collective, and more. Art by BT Thomas and Kardea Buss. Performance by Savell.


Listen, engage, and be inspired with us as we learn about resources and creative outlets while dealing with the various forms of violence in our community. We are not alone in this journey towards healing.
