Enjoy a 30-minute “How To” for learning about birds that inhabit Puget Sound with Seattle Audubon. First, we’ll practice some birdwatching basics that you can use anywhere. The second half of the session will be focused for drop-in visitors to jump in and spot fall migrants and winter residents. You will also have the chance to learn what you can do to protect and help birds thrive.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars if you have them; we’ll have a few pair on hand to lend as well. There will be one or two spotting scopes on hand for folks to try out. This session is suitable for beginner birders.
Masks are required for all participants. Limited capacity of 15 participants for our “How To” session. The session will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
