Actor André Ward joined Trae Holiday to talk about his role as Toulouse-Lautrec and what it means to him to be part of the nationally touring production of Moulin Rouge!

“He really sees the beauty in things other people don’t the the beauty in,” Ward says of his character.
DAVID HARRIS - “THE DUKE OF MONROTH”
David Harris joined Trae to discuss his role as The Duke of Monroth. Harris calls his character “the villain of the piece”, and one side of the love triangle that forms.
“This is the first time I’ve played a villain,” Harris said. “I think I’ve found a new direction in my career. The villain has some juicy stuff.”
He said he’s enjoyed the process of finding the meaning behind the villains story, and pouring his own emotions into the role.
TAMRIN GOLDBERG - SWING ROLE
Seattle native Tamrin Goldberg joined Trae to talk about what it is like for her to be back in her hometown as part of a nationally touring cast.
“I’ve been buzzing for weeks in anticipation of being home,” Goldberg said. “To come back to where I grew up and fell in love with the arts and feel the energy of the city is amazing.”
Goldberg spoke about how she covers nearly the entire ensemble, including six dance tracks.
“At any moments notice, I just have to be ready to jump up and do it,” Goldberg said.
COURTNEY REED - “SATINE”
Courtney Reed joined Trae to discuss her role as Satine and taking on the “Nicole Kidman part.”
“It kind of mimics the journey that I’ve taken in my own life, of becoming a leading lady and it’s really thrilling and exciting,” Reed said.
She also spoke about the production value of the show, saying that the cast is one of the most talented she’s worked with and that the crew has brought their A-game to the production.
“We really have the best of both worlds,” Reed said.
