Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Neither. I love to sleep! The only time I can consider myself a night owl is when I get in a creative zone that takes me into those wee hours. I've definitely broke night on a painting or two. When you feel it, do it. 

What is your favorite movie?

Crooklyn. But this is a very difficult question because I am a huge film buff. 

What motivates you at work?

I'm a self employed artist and it took a lot for me to get to this place of being able to sustain off of art alone. What motivates me is those precious moments when I realize I get to dictate the course of my day. No boss, no manager, just vibes lol!

What's something you're proud of?

So much, but my work with the Vivid Matter Collective on the landmark BLM mural is definitely the gift that keeps on giving. 48 hours has turned into two years of community, opportunity and expression on a level you just don't get to alone. Love my squad. 

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years The Re-Sole 206 will be a household name, get familiar now! I plan to be at the Roc Nation brunch for no reason other than to look fly af and rub elbows with Beyonce. I will also be turning 40 so probably planning a trip to a remote island to celebrate. 

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies? 

I'm pretty good at remembering numerical sequences and choreography. I can recall old locker combinations and bank cards.  I know Janet Jackson’s whole catalog simply from memory, among others. It's a gift!
