A 4 Apple new coat giveaway serves over 300 families with resources and smiles

Appollonia Washington and A 4 Apple Learning Center hosted a new coat giveaway at their location in the CD. It was a meaningful and impactful afternoon as over 300 families were able to get resources they needed.

She partnered with organizations including the The Emergency Feeding Program, Tre Simmons, Rich Bag Members, GWAP, Operation Warm and the Seattle Seahawks. Jackson’s Catfish Corner provided snack packs to families.

“I want to make sure i’m building community and that my partners stay active in the community as well,” Washington said. “For me to be able to give back to the community is a blessing and I love seeing the smiles that come out of these events.”
