Aries Season Went All the Way Up at Shake Bar Portland
When Aries season hits, you already know the energy’s about to shift—and in Portland, it shifted all the way up thanks to the Aries Party 2025 at Shake Bar.
What started over a decade ago as a birthday bash has grown into something way bigger: a cultural celebration that pulls folks from Cali to Canada—and even the East Coast—all to turn up with the Northwest. This year’s party brought out a crowd that came to dance, connect, and celebrate with style.
DJ Pryce Miyagi, who founded the Aries Party back in 2008, said it best: “We expect what we always expect—a good time, good vibe, good energy. That’s what Aries bring.” And that energy was everywhere, from the fashion to the dance floor, with DJs like Pryce, and DJ Kun Luv setting the tone all night.
The vibe? Intergenerational, high-fashion, and straight-up joyful. “It’s real grown, real sexy, and just good energy,” said DJ Kun Luv. “You got everybody in there—young, grown, and everybody looking fly. Lots of smiles, man.”
This event wasn’t just for Portland locals either. Swindle, another founder of the event said “People come from Cali to Canada—and even Vegas, Arizona, Philly, North Carolina, Arkansas—to this event.” Seattle and Tacoma were deep in the building, and the love between the cities was strong. Ronald Moore of Rare Entertainment and Converge Media talked about how the event bridges communities year after year: “There’s no outsiders, no drama—just good people who want to have a good time. We bring our crowds together and it’s always magic.”
And then there’s the VIP Mannequin Bar—yes, a full bar and a fashion experience in one. As Bryan from Black Manaquin put it, “You go to that bar over there to get your drinks, and you come over here to get your drip.”
Bottom line: the Aries Party 2025 wasn’t just a party, it was a moment. From the sold-out crowd to the unity between cities, it reminded everyone why this annual celebration continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the season.
If you missed it this time, don’t worry—they’ve been doing this for years, and next year’s vibe is already in motion.
