Artist Spotlight: Falon Sierra

Local Seattle artist Falon Sierra has been a force in the local music scene for years, competing and finishing second on KEXP and MoPOP’s Sound Off, being featured on NPR, and more. Sierra’s unique blend of R&B and Soul and her approach to songwriting have won her many fans as she continues on her ascent to stardom.

Sierra has played numerous venues around Seattle and beyond, sharing her perspectives and art with the community that she treasures. Some of her hit songs include Sprained Ankles and Try Me.

You can check out Falon’s music on her website here: www.falonsierra.com

Last month, Sierra was critically injured after being stabbed multiple times by an ex-boyfriend outside of a restaurant and she is currently recovering from the attack. The community has rallied to support her, with friends, family and fans alike helping her in her journey back to the bright lights. However, we’re not there yet. You can learn more about her road to recovery and donate here.

The community is invited to come out this Friday February 17th at 7 pm for an all-ages benefit concert at the Vera Project to support Sierra in her recovery.
