Besa Gordon Attends MoPOP’s Contact High Farewell Party

Written by Besa Gordon - Typically, on Fridays, I stay home if I can, to prep for the weekend, but when I found out MoPOP was throwing a farewell party for their exhibit Contact High, I had to get dressed and take one more look at this epic display of Hip-Hop history.

For those that don't know, Contact High was MoPOP's Hip-Hop exhibit with everything in there, from photos of Aaliyah with big reds x's on them that she did herself, to Notorious B.I.G's suit, along with Hip-Hop history facts and photos/videos you may have never seen.

Personally, Contact High has a soft spot in my heart as I've done two events at MoPOP; one was my Real Seattle Media Mixer and the other was a collab between myself and MoPOP as we put on for the city on Juneteenth, for both of these events we made a point to have Contact High open and accessible to check out for anyone that attended.

I'm genuinely going to miss it, but I also can't wait to see what MoPOP does next.
