Recap: Besa Gordon Attends The PNW’s Biggest Art Festival At Terrain Spokane

Via Besa Gordon: Let me find out #Spokane is a total vibe. When you’re in #Seattle as long as I’ve been it’s easy to forget we have other parts of the state and PNW that might be different than Seattle but it’s still a vibe to be there.

Shoutout to Converge Media for bringing me to the 509 for the very frst time in my life and to celebrate what is by far the largest arts festival in this part of America. Terrain returned in person for the first time in a few years, and for this art festival to have simply been a pop-up event. You would have thought you were in a Museum. Big shout out to Ginger Ewing and the whole team at Terrain for holding it down for the arts culture in the 509 all year long and especially that night!

What I loved is that they featured all forms of art from painting to dancing, from movies to poetry, and even live music performances. I’m honestly not sure what I expected when I told Omari Salisbury I was down to come for the festival but I’m happy I came.

While there we also stopped by Spokane Riverfront Park, Durkin's Liquor Bar, the Black Lives Matter mural, Specialty Foods Wine Peaches (which also has an antique shop upstairs,) and we overlooked the Columbia River Scenic Overlook. Check out some pictures we took while over in Spokane, and while you’re at it, when was the last time you went to Spokane? What did you do while you were there?
