Besa Gordon Details Why She Went Back on Topical Steroids

In a recent episode of her show Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle, Besa Gordon opened up about her decision to return to topical steroids after suffering from a severe flare-up of Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW).

TSW is a condition that can occur after prolonged use of topical steroids. It's characterized by painful and debilitating skin symptoms, which can significantly impact a person's quality of life.

Besa had been struggling with TSW for a long time, and it was taking a toll on her physical and mental health. She described feeling "over suffering" and said that her skin condition was impacting "every aspect of my life, my happiness, my well-being."

Ultimately, Besa decided that the best course of action for her was to return to topical steroids. She acknowledged that this was not an easy decision, but she felt it was necessary to restore her health and well-being.

"I just wanted my old self back," she explained. "I wanted to restore my mental health, return to my community, and of course, come back to you on this show."

Besa's decision to go back on topical steroids is a personal one, and it's important to remember that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to managing TSW. What works for one person may not work for another.

However, Besa's story is a powerful reminder that it's okay to prioritize your health and well-being, even if that means making difficult decisions.
