Besa Gordon Gives A Backstage Look at Pacific Northwest Ballet's Nutcracker
Written by Besa Gordon - It's Nutcracker season for the Pacific Northwest Ballet, and you already know I had to pull up and give you a behind-the-scenes look at how it all goes down before and during the show at MaCaw Hall. In case you missed this weekend's episode of Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle (btw if you missed it, you deff missed a lot), in this segment, we met with the youth that are part of the show, we went down to the orchestra pit, we went to their dressing rooms to see the dancers getting their makeup done, plus we even went to the side stage and saw dancers coming on and off the stage.
I'm not going to lie; this was my third time seeing the show, but it's officially my favorite time seeing it for this vantage point. It's something about seeing how it goes down and watching the dancers cheer each other on that truly warmed my heart. It really is a family vibe backstage, and it makes sense because everyone dances so well together, which, if you ask me, is a testament to their overall bond.
I want to thank the Pacific Northwest Ballet for bringing us backstage for last week's backstage pass powered by Quantum Fiber. If you haven't been to The Nutcracker this season, it's showing at MaCaw Hall until December 27th, and you can grab your tickets at pnb.org
