Seattle made history on Tuesday as the #BlackLiberation flag, the Red, Black, and Green, was officially hoisted over City Hall for the first time. This historic moment was celebrated by Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, along with Seattle City Councilmembers Joy Hollingsworth and Rob Saka, Esq., and King County Councilmember Girmay Zahilay, who were joined by several community members including our very own Besa Gordon as well as Seattle-King County NAACP President L. Darrell Powell and Acts on Stage, Renaissance20 Youth Performing Artists flag raising was also a call to continue to celebrate and uplift the presence and contributions of Black communities across our city. #BlackMediaMatters #WWConverge
