Chino Y Chicano Podcast Joins Converge Media Family, Launches 100th Episode

Seattle’s iconic Chino Y Chicano Podcast is joining the Converge Media family. Along with the release of their 100th episode, hosts Enrique Cerna and Matt Chan announced the move on Monday.

“We are thrilled to be a part of the Converge lineup of programs,” Cerna said.

The show features Cerna and Chan as they dish on the good, bad and ridiculousness of life for people of color in America. They tear apart the news of the week, explore the complexities of race, and “talk to people far more interesting than they will ever be”.

Guests have included Journalist Deborah Horne, Former Washington Governor Gary Locke, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell, Seattle Times Food Writer Tan Vinh and many more.

“Adding Chino Y Chicano to the Converge Media lineup is very exciting,” Converge Director of Production Alaia D’Alessandro said. “Their show has been built to serve a variety of communities and we look forward to featuring the unique perspectives of Matt Chan and Enrique Cerna on Converge.”

Cerna and Chan are retired from the television industry, where Chan created the hit reality series ‘Hoarders’ and Cerna worked as a broadcast journalist for over 40 years.

They’ll be releasing new episodes periodically, so make sure to stay tuned.
