Deaunte Damper Celebrates Seattle Pride on Good Day Seattle

Deaunte Damper, the guest host of Back2Besa, joined Erin Mayovsky on Good Day Seattle earlier this week to recap some of his experiences during Seattle Pride Month 2024. Deaunte, a dedicated and well-respected leader in the LGBTQ+ community, shared his enthusiasm for the vibrant celebrations that took place throughout the city.

From the Lavender Rights Project's Black Trans Comedy Showcase to the energetic Pride Parade, Deaunte was in the midst of it all. He even delivered a powerful call to action before the parade, emphasizing the importance of unity, acceptance, and continued progress for the LGBTQ+ community.

Deaunte expressed his favorite part of the weekend was witnessing the diverse and inclusive crowd, including youth and elders, coming together to celebrate love and identity. He highlighted the significance of Pride as a space for the community to connect, support one another, and honor the progress made over the years.

As Deaunte continues to guest host Back2Besa, viewers can expect him to follow Besa’s lead and deliver stories that are insightful, meaningful, and impactful on the human level from across our region with a focus on community building, youth empowerment, health, and well-being, mixed with a whole lot of positive vibes.
