Making connections with your audience is rule number one for a host of any show, and it is not always easy. But for Besa Gordon, the host of Back2Besa on FOX 13 Seattle building meaningful connections with viewers all over the Pacific Northwest for the last 9 months has been something she has excelled at as viewers across the region enjoy her “round-the-way girl” style and down to Earth personality.

Two very special viewers whom Besa has built a bond with along the way are Lanakila and Reggie from Yelm, WA , who have been supporters of Back2Besa literally since day one and according to Besa, their words of encouragement as soon as that launch episode ended was exactly what she needed to hear.

Besa recalls the challenges she faced in launching her show, “I felt we had something special but was anxious to see if viewers would feel the same,” said Besa

Amidst the nerves and excitement of the first episode finally being out to the masses, she received an email from Lanakila Washington, and Reggie Ross, expressing their admiration for the show and recommending a local gem, Beau Legs Fish & Chips.

After months of exchanging emails and sharing favorite moments from the show, Besa finally had the opportunity to meet Lanakila and Reggie in person. The trio gathered at Beau Legs Fish & Chips in Lacey, Washington, where laughter, good food, and heartfelt conversations flowed effortlessly.

When asked how they learned about the show, Lanakila said, “We always watch Fox News. And they started running the package on your show us I really watch that. Because we always looking forward to watching something that we can talk about on our podcast.”

For Besa, the meeting was more than just a lunch date—it was a chance to express her gratitude to the fans who had supported her from the very beginning, “Moments like this are important to me.” Expressed Besa “I do my first episode, and I beat myself because I'm like, I hate my hair, I hate my outfit, I hope I did well [and] I hope I didn't sound like a dud. And then, right after the show ends, I got an email from you saying how dope the show was. And I'm like, dang, maybe I was being too hard on myself. That’s a validation that I hope that a lot of people get [one day], but it's something that I actually needed. So I think you guys.”

In the world of entertainment, genuine connections are rare treasures. For Besa Gordon and her devoted viewers, Lanakila and Reggie, their meeting at Beau Legs Fish & Chips was a testament to the power of community and shared passion.
