Help shape the Air Quality program in Washington State
From now until November 10, members of the public can help shape the Air Quality program launching as part of Washington’s Climate Commitment Act.
This is a crucial opportunity for us to help make our state’s Air Quality program as strong as possible. With input from communities across Washington, and especially with voices from marginalized communities, we can call for – and help create – a best-in-the-nation program for rapidly reducing health-harming pollutants in neighborhoods that need it most.
The Department of Ecology will use comments from the public to help draft the specific mechanisms of the program. By providing our input now, our voices can make a real difference for our neighbors’ wellbeing for generations to come.
Head to Ecology's website to learn how to attend a virtual public comment session, submit your comment online, leave a voicemail for Ecology staff, or send a letter in the regular mail.
