Inaugural Holiday Pop-Up Retail and Networking Event Supports Small Businesses in Puget Sound
Part of an ongoing effort to support local, small businesses throughout the Greater Seattle Area, Business Impact NW presents for the first time a holiday pop-up event on December 14th at 1505 5th Ave from 4 – 8 pm. This free to attend event is to celebrate local business owners who completed the Small Business Digital Accelerator Program, which supports entrepreneurs across WA.
The event is hosted by Business Impact NW, a local non-profit which specializes in supporting under-banked entrepreneurs. It will feature a holiday market, a mixer, and food and drink from local vendors.
It will also feature our very own Besa Gordon as one of the hosts.
“This is a chance for attendees to holiday shop and fill their bellies with food and drink specials, all while networking with local business leaders and advocates as the holiday season approaches,” the official press release states.
The featured guest is Jordan Clark, the founder of Dooeys. She was a finalist on Fox’s Billion Dollar Idea TV Show and will be available to share her expertise and experience with attendees. Also present will be Mayor Bruce Harrell, Director of the Seattle Office of Economic Development Markham McIntyre, and the Administrator of the US Small Business Administration.
“Whether you are looking for sustainable footwear, eco-conscious skincare or wellness products, sportswear apparel or handmade gifts, there is something for every family member and friend,” shares Joe Sky-Tucker, CEO of Business Impact NW.
Omini Sportswear founder Michael Okoro believes small businesses are the foundation for communities. He adds, “they need local support to grow and thrive, hire more people, make more sales, and positively impact a city.”
The event is free to attend and takes place on December 14th from 4-8 pm at 1505 5th Ave
