On Sunday, Besa Gordon headed to the Metier Brewing Taproom in the Central District for their weekly fried chicken and beignet brunch. With the food provided by world-renowned Chef Harold Fields of Umami Kushi, Besa Gordon sat down with Metier Brewing Owner and Co-founder Rodney Hines and they spoke about the inspiration behind Metier and why Rodney does what he does as well as the importance of Black-owned breweries. We also got a behind the scenes look at Chef Fields and the preparation of his famous fried chicken and beignets.
