PHOTOS: Besa Gordon Visits Eighth Generation

Besa Gordon visited  Eighth Generation, a Seattle-based art and lifestyle brand owned by the Snoqualmie Tribe and located on 1st Avenue downtown. Founded in 2008 by artist and activist Louie Gong (Nooksack), Eighth Generation is the first Native-owned company to produce wool blankets.

Besa received a personal tour from Colleen Echohawk, the CEO of Eighth Generation. Colleen shared the company's mission to provide a strong, ethical alternative to "Native-inspired" art and products through its artist-centric approach and 100% Native-designed products.

See what Besa learned about Eighth Generation and their products tonight on Back2Besa, with guest host Deaunte Damper at 10:30 pm on FOX 13 Seattle and see the replay Sunday at 10 am on FOX 13 +
