#SaveSankofa - Sankofa Theater to host two fundraisers to raise money for a new lease

The Sankofa Theater is hosting two fundraising parties - one on May 20th and one on May 28th. The funds will go towards securing a new lease for the Black Woman-owned theater which provides space for the arts within Seattle's Black community.

The theater is at risk of displacement due to financial issues and you can hear more about the efforts to save it on our social media pages.
