Swing into Flavor: Inside T-Mobile Park's 2024 Food Extravaganza

Written by - Besa Gordon: It’s that time of year when we’re all anticipating the start of baseball season, which also means it’s time to talk about the new foods hitting T-Mobile Park this season. Yesterday, the Seattle Mariners announced their new food and beverage offerings for the 2024 season ahead of Opening Day, which is Thursday, March 28th. While there, I caught up with T-Mobile Park’s Executive Chef, Chef Javier Rosa, to get the deets on this season’s food additions and how he picked each item. I also asked Chef which food I should try first, and he happily told me to try them all, and pace myself, so… That’s exactly what I did. Below is a list of my favorite items added to the ballpark this 2024 season:

  • MOTO Pizza’s Crab Pizza (fresh Dungeness crab, splash of warm butter, dill, thyme, and parmesan finished with a “liquid sunshine” mix of fresh squeezed lemon and herbs on a century-old sourdough starter)

  • Chef Javier’s Holy Smoke BBQ House Smoked Pork Ribs (on-site smoked pork ribs served with signature BBQ sauce)

  • Edgar’s Cantina’s Shrimp Quesadilla (two folded quesadillas stuffed with Pacific Northwest Shrimp, chihuahua cheeses, roasted peppers and onions, cilantro and a side of chipotle crema)

  • Salt & Straw’s T-Mobile Park special Wild-Forged Berry Slab Pie (wild berries forged from the slopes of Mt. Baker in Washington, simmered into an ooey-gooey filling and slathered across crispy bits of double-based pie crust in a salted vanilla ice cream)

  • Marination’s Tater Tots (tater tots sprinkled with a special blend of seasonings) and their non-alcoholic pineapple coconut Frosé Slushie

  • Tamari Bar’s Area 206 Curry Rice (Area 206 curry sauce, rice, dried seaweed Japanese pickles, and house made “Ra-Yu” chili oil), Katsu Curry Rice (Area 206 curry sauce, fried pork cutlet, vegetable katsu sauce, sesame seeds)

Now it’s not on my list because I didn’t get to try it, but they also added a Seattle Dog, which I heard was fire. At this point, you might as well just come to the ballpark hungry, because there are plenty of yummy options for the whole family to get into, including a new vegan ice cream flavor from Salt & Straw.
