The Seattle Kraken fell to the Colorado Avalanche in the their home opener, scoring the opening goal in the first period only to allow a rough second period to set the tone of this game for the rest of the night. On the road again in Colorado, the Seattle Kraken marched into Ball Arena once again and stuck it to the defending champion Avalanche to take a 3-2 series lead as we now shift back to Seattle for a potential history-making game six. New father Morgan Geekie and AHL call up Tye Kartye got the scoring started for the Kraken, as Yanni Gourde’s tip in helped Seattle pull out a victory.

In game four of the round one Stanley Cup Playoffs matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, Jordan Eberle made more history for the franchise as his game winner secured the first ever overtime and home win in franchise playoff history. Seattle jumped out to a two goal lead in the first period before Mikko Rantanen scored twice in the second, setting us up for a dramatic finish.

In the first Stanley Cup Playoff game in Seattle since 1919, a capacity crowd filled Climate Pledge Arena, and brought the signature Seattle sports sound we’ve become accustomed to.
Hot start not sustained by Kraken, Avalanche find their form to even the series
In game two of their Stanley Cup Playoffs round one matchup against the Colorado Avalanche, the Seattle Kraken failed to maintain their intensity from the first period, allowing three unanswered goals after the first intermission. After two games, the Kraken return to Seattle with an even series to bring back to their fans at Climate Pledge Arena.
