Rain City Showcase 2023: Clippers top Jazz as Seattle shows out
The Los Angeles Clippers were the "Home" team tonight, hosting the Utah Jazz and winning behind a strong effort from Kawhi Leonard. The stars were on display at CPA, as numerous Seattle sports legends including Lenny Wilkens, Sue Bird, Bobby Wagner, and current players like J.P. Crawford and Jordan Horston were present at the game. The city of Seattle continues to show out, proving why it deserves an NBA team once again.

On Friday, Champions of Change hosted their annual celebrity basketball game featuring Seattle sports legends. Led by Doug Baldwin, the game featured Seahawks legends, former NBA All-Stars, WNBA players, mascots and more. Storm run out of time on comeback attempt; lose second straight to Mystics, 71-65
On an emotional day ahead of Sue Bird’s jersey retirement ceremony, the Seattle Storm nearly completed a historic comeback to beat the Washington Mystics, but simply ran out of time. Seattle didn’t have much of anything going on in the first half, but a strong effort on both sides of the ball helped them get within three points. This is Bel Garcia’s recap.
