Late comeback effort not enough; Storm fall to Liberty 81-66
The Seattle Storm dropped their third straight loss, falling to the New York Liberty in another contest that displayed many of the issues that they’d dealt with for most of the 2023 season in addition to a few other problems that Liberty took advantage of.
Storm can’t spoil Breanna Stewart’s return to Seattle, fall to Liberty
For their third consecutive loss to begin the season, a franchise worst, the Seattle Storm fell to the New York Liberty in Breanna Stewart’s return. Stewie didn’t have much of an impact until the second quarter, and while Seattle fought hard, they couldn’t close the gap after a strong third quarter by the Liberty.
Sue Bird’s career, Storm season ends in game four loss to Las Vegas Aces
The 2022 season came to an end for our Seattle Storm, also putting a final stamp on Sue Birds legendary career. The Aces simply had too much firepower for Seattle to keep up with, and unfortunately we would not be able to watch Sue Bird ride off into the sunset.

In game 3 of the WNBA Playoffs semifinals, the Seattle Storm fell in an overtime thriller against the Las Vegas Aces. The loss creates a win or go home scenario in game 4 for Seattle.

In game two of their first round matchup against the Washington Mystics, the Seattle Storm pulled away from a tight score at halftime.
Storm take 1-0 series lead over Washington Mystics
In game one of their first round matchup, the Seattle Storm came back to defeat the Washington Mystics 86-83. Shooting guard Jewell Loyd overcame her slow start to score 12 of the last 14 points for the Storm. Seattle is now one game away from winning the series.
Las Vegas “Aces” out Seattle Storm in Sue Birds final regular season home game
In Sue Bird’s final regular season home game of her career, the Seattle Storm could not defeat the Las Vegas Aces as Vegas closed the game out late. Seattle is narrowly in the running still for to host in the first round of the playoffs
Storm punch first in dominant win over Lynx
The Seattle Storm got out to an early lead against the Minnesota Lynx, and never looked back. With Lauren Jackson in attendance, Briann January and Sylvia Fowles being honored, there were plenty of festivities before and during the big win.
Behind big performances by Charles and Stewart, Storm takes win over Dream
The Seattle Storm got a bounce back win, as they defeated the Atlanta Dream. Seattle takes the season series 2-1, and remains firmly in the second seed in the Western Conference.
Storm win 4th straight, 3rd time against Indiana Fever
The Seattle Storm defeated the Indiana Fever for the third time this year, giving the Storm their fourth straight victory. Breanna Stewart continued her MVP caliber play, while Tina Charles continues to add a spark off of the bench.

The Seattle Storm used key bench contributions and veteran closing to defeat the Dallas Wings. The win would be Seattle’s third in as many games and third straight against the Wings since Seattle lost to Dallas on June 3rd.

The Seattle Storm dominated the Indiana Fever in a blowout win. Seattle’s starters were able to rest as the Storm romped over a young, learning Fever squad. Tina Charles moved into fourth place all-time on the WNBA scoring list.

The Seattle Storm were able to handily defeated the Las Vegas in a Wednesday matchup. The game was close throughout, but ultimately the Storm were able to slam the door shut to secure a big win over the best team in the WNBA to his point.

The Seattle Storm started hot and ended poorly in a tough loss to the Los Angeles Sparks. The Storm looked uncharacteristically poor late in the game, sinking their chance of a comeback.
