Not so clear Sky’s: Storm officially eliminated from playoff contention with frustrating defeat
With their 85-90 loss to the Chicago Sky in their second to last home game of the 2023 season, the Seattle Storm were officially eliminated from playoff contention. It’s the first since 2015 that the franchise will not make the playoffs, as a year of growth continues.
Struggling Storm continue to face self inflicted issues, falling to Sky 75-90, to drop ninth straight loss
The Seattle Storm dropped their ninth-straight game, and their second since the second half of the season began, as they never were able to get a lead against the Chicago Sky. The visiting Chicago dominated the boards, ensuring their lead over a Seattle team that cannot seem to put an all-around effort together.

The Seattle Storm defeated the defending champion Chicago Sky with staunch defense and an impressive performance by young Center Ezi Magbegor.
