Storm head into All-Star break with back-to-back losses, away at Washington and Atlanta

Heading into the 2023 All-Star break, the Seattle Storm continue to display growing pains and continuing issues that they can’t seem to completely fix, with some injuries currently adding into the mix of what’s going wrong. With the break coming now, it’s a big opportunity for Seattle and their players to hit rest and get back into a focus they’ll need for the second half of the season.

Storm can’t complete upset against Liberty in New York, Loyd suffers ankle sprain

In their third battle this season with the New York Liberty, the Seattle Storm once again fought hard all game long in a valiant attempt to upset one of the top teams in the WNBA, but ultimately could not get the closing moments late to go in their favor, partially in part to the fact that Jewell Loyd missed most of the quarter with a left ankle sprain.
