Seattle Kraken morning skate notes: January 24th, 2024
The January 24th, 2024 Morning Skate for the Seattle Kraken, ahead of their battle against the Chicago Blackhawks later in the day, featured a few returns for the team in terms of players that had been dealing with injury, and potential progress updates.
Kraken forward Andre Burakovsky to miss 6-8 weeks with an upper body injury
The Seattle Kraken will lose another forward with a long-term injury, as Andre Burakovsky will miss approximately 6-8 weeks with what is being called an "upper body injury." The Kraken will be without a player that was their leading point scorer last season before he suffered a groin injury that ended his campaign immediately after the all-star break.
Kraken get singed by Flames in 5-2 loss
In their second to last game before the All-Star break, the Seattle Kraken looked like the ones who were gassed as they fall by a three goal margin to a Calgary Flames team that was on the second game of a back-to-back
