Mariners fail to contain Yankees again, dropping series to New York
In their second loss in as many days, the Seattle Mariners were blown out by the New York Yankees as the Yankees took the series. A 10-2 win saw Mariners starter Logan Gilbert struggle, ending his outing in four innings while the Seattle bats were only able to push two runs across.
Back-to-back blasts by Crawford and France power Mariners to game two victory over Athletics
For a second straight night, the Seattle Mariners secured a victory over the Oakland Athletics, but tonight’s win was far different than yesterday’s. The Mariners bats were a lot quieter than yesterday, as JP Crawford and Ty France’s back-to-back homers powered the team to victory behind a strong performance from Seattle’s pitching staff.
