The Seattle Kraken, fresh off a disappointing and frustrating loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday followed up by an intense practice, dropped a dud against the Colorado Avalanche despite a strong first period start for the home side.

The Seattle Kraken fell to the Colorado Avalanche in the their home opener, scoring the opening goal in the first period only to allow a rough second period to set the tone of this game for the rest of the night. The Kraken continue to struggle on the powerplay and scoring the puck, hurting the rest of their game.
