Our Seattle Storm are bringing back a familiar face, as Alysha Clark has reportedly signed with the team as she leaves the Las Vegas Aces in free agency. It's a quieter move for the Storm, but an important one as Clark is still a difference making veteran.

Our Seattle Storm have possession of the number two overall selection in this years WNBA draft, and while some thought that they may move on from it after acquiring it in the Jewell Loyd trade, that doesn't appear to be the case.

In her introductory press conference with the Las Vegas Aces, former Seattle Storm guard Jewell Loyd discussed how she views the next chapter of her career and life following the three-team trade that saw her leave the team that drafted her.

In a move that's been anticipated and was rumored earlier today on the WNBA free agency show on ESPN, our Seattle Storm will be re-signing free agent forward Nneka Ogwumike, as the news was broken by her sister Chiney on Sportscenter.

To close things out before the Olympic break, the Seattle Storm got a road victory over the Los Angeles Sparks for their eighth win in their last ten games. Beyond big efforts from Jewell Loyd and Nneka Ogwumike, the Storm were able to handle business against the Sparks despite a strong push by LA.

The Seattle Reign FC drew a penalty just 12 seconds as Jordyn Huitema was fouled and Bethany Balcer buried it for the matches lone goal, as Seattle played strong defensively throughout to blank the Washington Spirit and begin the year with three points.

In the UKG Challenge Cup semifinal, one mistake in the first half proved fatal for the OL Reign, as they fell by a score of 1-0 to Racing Louisville FC. The Reign failed once again in a semifinal situation, and now shift focus towards chasing an NWSL playoff spot.

Following last night’s loss to the Portland Thorns, the OL Reign got back to business with a 2-1 victory over the KC Current. Fullback Sofia Huerta was a contributor on both of the clubs goals in the victory, from a goal to begin the match to an assist on Jordyn Huitema’s late header goal.

The OL Reign returned home to Lumen Field and NWSL regular season play with a 5-2 victory over the Chicago Red Stars, powered by braces scored by forward Bethany Balcer and midfielder Jess Fishlock. Although the Reign had miscues on their two goals allowed to Chicago, they were able to dominate the Red Stars.
