CD Panthers celebrated by Seahawks and Friends of Waterfront at annual banquet

Friends of Waterfront Seattle and the Seattle Seahawks sponsored their annual awards banquet at Lumen Field's West Club in partnership with some of Waterfront Park's  community & programming partners: Langston Seattle, CD Forum for Arts & Ideas, Verity Credit Union, Converge Media, and Africatown Community Land Trust, who stepped up to support uplifting this multi-decade staple organization and the work they continue to do tirelessly for Black youth and any child who wishes to participate.

The night uplifted community and celebrated the youth and adults involved with the CD Panthers. During the banquet, CD Panthers: The Marathon was screened in honor of D’Vonne Pickett Jr., who was tragically murdered in October and coached the CD Panthers 6u football team.
