Vitamin D, a DJ, producer, and emcee with roots deep in the hip-hop scene since its early days, will bring his extensive knowledge and passion to the stage. He shares a personal connection to the artists, having witnessed their impact firsthand. He emphasizes how Q-Tip and J Dilla revolutionized hip-hop, introducing spiritual jazz sounds and innovative sampling techniques. Vitamin D also highlights J Dilla's ability to make a drum machine sound human and his influence on the neo-soul movement.

This isn't just any DJ set; it's a musical conversation, a versus battle, between two artists who have been friends since childhood. Vitamin D and Roc Phizzle, both from LA with shared history dating back to Vitamin D's fifth birthday party, will explore the influence of these iconic figures.
