Washington HAF Funds Available Now for Homeowners Facing Foreclosure Due to Covid-related Hardships

The Washington State Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF) provides support and federal relief funds to eligible Washington homeowners behind on their mortgage due to Covid-related hardships.  HAF was created to help homeowners by providing funds to prevent mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures, loss of utilities or home energy services, and displacements.

Individual support and federal relief funds—up to $60,000 per household—are available for qualified Washington homeowners behind on their mortgage due to pandemic hardship.

A statewide housing counseling network supports homeowners every step of the way, including help with the HAF application and much more. Counselors are also able to offer support in multiple languages. Everyone can get support, just call the available Hotline at 1-877-894-4663 or visit washingtonhaf.org.

Emily Northrup, a Grants Administrator for the Homeownership Division of the Washington State Housing Finance Commission recently sat down with Trae Holiday to share more information to the community. You can watch the segment above.
