Young and Talented Showcase Inspires Deaunte Damper on Good Day Seattle
Deaunte Damper, guest host for Back2Besa, recently appeared on FOX 13’s Good Day Seattle with Erin Mayovsky yesterday. He shared his experience at the Young and Talented Showcase last weekend in South Seattle at the Black & Tan Hall, emphasizing the importance of empowering young people.
Damper was particularly moved by a young performer named Scarface Khai, who spoke about the importance of following your dreams with confidence. "These young youth were filled with so much light," Damper said. "It's so great to just see another side of what our community is inspiring our young people to do."
Damper also discussed his time filling in for regular Back2Besa host Besa Gordon, who is currently on a health-related leave. He described the experience as "one of the best experiences of my life."
The conversation concluded with Mayovsky expressing her hope that Damper and Gordon will collaborate together on Back2Besa in the future, sparking anticipation and excitement among the audience for what's to come.
