The Seattle Public Library to Reopen Meeting Rooms and Expand Hours in May
Beginning Monday, May 2, meeting rooms and study rooms at The Seattle Public Library will once again be available for public reservation and use. Music practice rooms in the Central Library will reopen will be available for public use on Tuesday, May 24. Members of the public can learn more about these spaces and book available rooms by visiting the Branch Meeting Rooms and Central Library Meeting Rooms pages on spl.org.
The Marriage of Figaro at McCaw Hall
The final mainstage opera of the season is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s crafty comedy The Marriage of Figaro (May 7–22, 2022 at McCaw Hall). Community-Based Organizations Are Invited to Apply for DEEL’s Summer Learning Request for Investment
The Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL) is currently requesting applications from community-based organizations and city agencies for DEEL’s Summer Learning Enhancement Request for Investment (RFI). Funded by the Families, Education, Preschool and Promise Levy, this funding opportunity seeks to expand or enhance existing community-based summer programs for Seattle K-12 students.
Seattle Public Utility Board Is Seeking New Members
SPU’s Customer Review Panel (CRP) is seeking new members for July 2022 appointment. We released this item in an effort to generate funding for Our youth program 'Educating Young Entrepreneurs'. As some may know We've chosen the leopard as Our mascot or representative due to the fact that most leopards (like the Amur Leopard for instance) are labeled 'critically endangered. Which to Us is similar to maneuvering in under-resourced communities like the youth and young adults that We support and advocate for.
