Returning from a long road trip on the East coast, the Seattle Mariners opened up a ten-game homestand with an 11-2 thumping over the Oakland Athletics. Behind a shutout outing through six innings by ace Luis Castillo, the Mariners bats found some life that they will look to sustain through the rest of the homestand and use as a Kickstarter for the rest of their season.

In the third homestand of the 2023 season, the Seattle Mariners hosted the two Texas based teams at T-Mobile Park for a somewhat brief stretch. It was an even split of the six games, with the Mariners getting an impressive series win over the Astros while narrowly losing the series to the Rangers.
