Allison Fine - Federal Way Community Festival

Meet Allison Fine, a PNW transplant from California, whose life experiences, observations, and opinions led her to comedy in these chaotic times. Her most important title is Mom of an adopted special needs young adult who doesn't laugh enough at her jokes. She is also a Diversity Commissioner City of Federal Way.

Allison is a former teacher and social worker who also does political work, community and Union organizing, with a focus on Queer and other marginalized communities. She is a survivor of severe domestic violence, finding humor in her pain. Her ultimate goal is to leave the world better than it was when she was born.

Allison's credits include performing in the 2022 Detroit Women's International Comedy Festival and shows across the country. She has opened for Nate Jackson, Gabe Rutledge, Cory Michaelis, Comedian Shang Forbes, and more.

In late 2021, Allison created the Open Mic Collective PNW, a successful production collective that offers 12-14 mics and shows in the South Puget Sound, as well as her own production company, ImFine Ent. She also hosts a podcast, Old Heads, Young Minds, with fellow comedian Robert Pinner.

Allison stopped by The Day With Trae with TraeAnna Holiday to discuss the upcoming Federal Way Community Festival. You can view the full interview on the link below.
