Cory McCall Discusses Black Men Run Seattle's Impact on Community Health

Cory McCall, co-founder of Black Men Run Seattle, joined The Day With Trae and shared valuable insights on community building and promoting health and wellness among Black men. Black Men Run Seattle is a chapter of a global organization dedicated to improving the health of Black men through running and community support. McCall emphasized the importance of creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for runners of all levels, with the motto "no man left behind."

The Seattle chapter actively engages in community-building initiatives, organizing events that support Black-owned businesses and promote health within the Black community and are planning an annual event called Circle the Block, focusing on Black health through classes on nutrition, yoga, meditation, and running.

Black Men Run Seattle is a powerful example of a grassroots organization driving positive change by addressing health disparities and fostering a supportive community. To learn more about their impactful work and upcoming events, visit their Instagram @BMRSeattle.
