Meet Shaquan Smith, PMP®, a planner and strategic advisor for Seattle Parks and Recreation, originally from Flint, MI, who is passionate about making a positive impact in his community. Shaquan's work focuses on bridging the gap between equity and sustainability, particularly for frontline communities most affected by racism, oppression, and colonization. Through participatory strategies and improvement efforts, he helps to make parks more equitable and sustainable.
