How Dignity for Divas is Making a Difference in Western Washington

#RewindWithBesa - Dignity for Divas, a beacon of hope for women in transition across Western Washington, earlier this year they celebrated a milestone with the launch of a fridge and pantry program at the Diva Dream Academy. This initiative, made possible through a partnership with Champions of Change and One Love, ensures that essential food items are readily available to those in need, providing nourishment and support to families during their transition.

But Dignity for Divas offers more than just material assistance. Their holistic approach focuses on empowering women through healing-focused wellness workshops and trauma response education. From Mommy and Me sessions to cooking classes, holistic yoga, meditation, and financial literacy workshops, participants receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs. The organization also offers internship programs for welcome home graduates, providing them with valuable skills and opportunities for stable employment.

Since its inception, Dignity for Divas has achieved remarkable success, with 72% of program participants maintaining stable housing for at least 24 months. The organization has served over 72,000 unhoused individuals across Western Washington, making a tangible impact on communities from Seattle to Bellevue. You can get involved by volunteering for workshop registration or food pantry shopping, or by making a donation to support their wellness and healing programs.
