ReSol 206: One Year of Restoration and Community, by Takiyah "TDub" Ward

One year ago, The Re-Sole 206 opened its doors, and what a year it has been! The shop, owned by Takiyah "TDub" Ward, has laughed, cried, and restored countless sneakers to their former glory. But The Re-Sole 206 is more than just a sneaker restoration shop; it's a place where memories are revived, relationships are built, and community is fostered.

Building a business from scratch is no easy feat. It's a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with moments of doubt and uncertainty. There were times when the weight of it all felt overwhelming, but through it all, TDub persevered. Her passion for her craft and an unwavering belief in her dream fueled her every step of the way.

The Re-Sole 206 has learned so much this past year. The importance of resilience, the power of community, and the joy of connecting with its customers. They've also learned that they're not just fixing shoes; they're restoring hope, one sole at a time.

As they look back on this incredible year, TDub and The Re-Sole 206 are filled with gratitude. They're grateful for their amazing customers who have trusted them with their beloved sneakers. They're grateful for their supportive community who have cheered them on every step of the way. And they're grateful for the opportunity to do what they love every day.

Thank you for being a part of The Re-Sole 206's journey. Here's to many more years of restoring sneakers and building community!
